Teeth-Straightening Solutions From The Teenage Years And Beyond
Here is a range of orthodontic treatments suitable for all smiles and ages, from adolescents to adults. While we focus on enhancing your smile, orthodontic care also significantly improves oral health. Misaligned teeth and a crooked bite can make cleaning challenging and cause discomfort or pain. With orthodontic treatment, these issues can be resolved in as little as 6 months.
How do I know if I need orthodontics?
You might benefit from orthodontic treatment if you have experienced any of the following problems:
- Overbite – when your upper teeth sit too far forward.
- Spacing – gaps or spaces between the teeth.
- Underbite – when your lower teeth sit too far forward.
- Crowding – when teeth are overlapping or impossible to floss.
- Crossbite – a bite that doesn’t mesh comfortably.
- Pain – Chronic headaches, jaw pain, or upper back and neck pain

A Better Smile, a Healthier Mouth
Straighter teeth improve more than the appearance of your smile. They also make a big difference when it comes to your overall oral health. Crowded or crooked teeth make proper brushing and flossing difficult, or even impossible, resulting in tooth decay, gum disease, and more.
Misaligned teeth contribute to breathing problems, deterioration of the jaw, and uneven tooth wear.
Nearly 9 out of every 10 people experience some degree of tooth crowding or misalignment, contributing to the following:
- Chipped front teeth
- Tooth loss
- Food getting stuck between teeth
- Difficulty flossing and cleaning between teeth
- Increased risk of cavities between teeth
- Gum disease
If you experience any of the above conditions, we encourage you to schedule an appointment at our dental office in Beamsville for an evaluation of your oral health.
What to Expect From Your ClearCorrect Clear Aligner Treatment
Our priority is to help patients achieve overall health and a beautiful smile by starting with a good foundation. That means straightening the teeth so they’re in proper alignment and functioning correctly. You’re never too old to benefit from straightening your teeth.
Your Treatment Plan
We start the ClearCorrect treatment plan by taking digital scans of your teeth. With these scans, we can project how your teeth will look throughout your treatment, right up until the end. Once your digital plan is finalized, your custom aligners are made using a state-of-the-art printing process.
The First Aligners
When the aligners are delivered, it might be required to use specific fasteners. These are temporarily attached to your teeth, enabling simple attachment of your aligners. The fasteners are nearly imperceptible and will be removed once the treatment is completed.
We will provide you with each set of clear aligners to wear for about two weeks. The clear aligners will shift your teeth into place little by little as you progress through the treatment until your teeth have been moved to their final, correct position. We will schedule visits roughly once every 1-2 months to ensure that the treatment is going as planned.

Generally, we want to see how your whole mouth looks and functions. Before we plan your treatment we want to know everything about the health and aesthetic of your smile, and, most importantly, what you want to achieve so we can help you get there.
Cost of ClearCorrect Clear Aligners in Beamsville
With a typical insurance plan, ClearCorrect treatment averages between $4000 and $6000 out-of-pocket.
How do we determine this cost? When considering the cost of orthodontics, there are a few things to consider:
- The current condition of your overall oral health
- How much your teeth need to shift
- The length of your treatment
Because every smile is so different, the only way to find out for sure how ClearCorrect will cost you out of pocket is to come in for a consultation. Tell us your personal goals for your smile, let us examine your teeth, and we will create a personalized treatment plan that will accomplish your specific wants and needs. Don’t let crooked teeth hinder your confidence or affect your oral health.
Frequently Asked Questions
ClearCorrect is both more comfortable and more discrete than braces. The clear custom-fit trays are hardly noticeable and most people won’t even realize you’re wearing them. Plus, they can be removed for important presentations or dates! The clear trays are also smooth against the inside of your mouth and don’t pinch or scratch like the brackets from braces. If your trays rub on your gums, they can be easily adjusted. ClearCorrect trays exert a gentler pressure compared to braces and only shift a few teeth at a time. That makes ClearCorrect orthodontics far more comfortable than conventional methods.
ClearCorrect makes changes to your teeth very gradually. Minor changes can be made in a few short weeks with little discomfort, and more complex changes can occur over a longer span of time to ensure you stay as comfortable as possible. There may be some discomfort, but if your ClearCorrect hurts, let us know.
On average, it takes anywhere from 6 to 12 months for your teeth to move into the correct position with ClearCorrect. Most people start noticing some movement, however, within the first 6 weeks after getting their first set of aligner trays. The more changes you would like to see, the longer it will take no matter what orthodontic option you choose.
Twice a day, remove your tray and clean it and your teeth before putting it back in. If you take your aligner out at any time, always rinse it before you put it back in, and try not to let it sit in the open air when you aren’t wearing it. You may soak your aligners in denture cleaner or ClearCorrect cleaning crystals and carefully rinse them before putting them back in your mouth. Do not eat or drink with your trays in, and do not use toothpaste to clean your trays. We will provide you with detailed home care instructions when you receive your first trays.
Don’t eat with your aligners in your mouth. If you expose your aligners to the strong chewing forces that your teeth are trained to exert, you can damage or even crack your aligners, plus it’s just messy and not easy to eat with ClearCorrect in your mouth.
Yes, even when you sleep. They should be worn all day and night, except when eating and drinking. Your clear aligners won’t work if they’re not constantly shifting your teeth over time, which means you’ve gotta wear them!
Ideally, orthodontic treatment would occur in younger patients before most adult teeth have arrived. If you are a parent, we recommend bringing your teen in for a consultation. But don’t worry! There are orthodontic treatment options available for adults too! It’s never too late.
